Itinerary v. 1March 20 - Travel to Guatemala City, ground transport to Antigua, Guatemala. Relax and enjoy the tranquility. Overnight in Antigua.
March 21 - Morning Mass, Colonial ruins, Monasteries and Churches. Enjoy local food, textiles, and culture. Optional Half day trip to San Juan Obispo, home of chocolate and níspero wine. And the residence of the first bishop in Central America. Overnight in Antigua. |
March 22 - Morning Mass. Tour various colonial ruins, Monasteries and Churches. Shopping. Optional trip to the black sand beaches of Monterrico.
March 23 - Morning Mass, Colonial ruins, Monasteries and Churches, local food, textiles, culture. Optional trip to San Antonio Aguas Calientes for textile shopping. Overnight in Antigua. March 24 - Ground Transport to Guatemala City. Optional trip to climb Volcan Pacaya. Overnight in Guatemala City. March 25 - Fly home from Guatemala City. |
