What you want to know...This unique pilgrimage has a limited number of spots because of the rest and solitude we mean to create for you. The weather at Lake Atitlan is perfect and the scenery rivals any natural beauty known to man. These picturesque surroundings are ideal for connecting with spouses or friends, for prayer, and active leisure.
Our one goal is to create a transformative experience like none other and to give back to the local Mayan people. We will employ professional local friends to guide us by bus and by boat to our remote destinations. Beautiful lodging and gardens, soaking tubs with picture windows, coffee, chocolate and naps in a hammock. This is right for you. Friday, November 17 - Travel to Guatemala City, Dinner and overnight at an exquisite hotel in the city. Saturday, November 18 - Breakfast. Ground transport to Panajachel, Guatemala. Boat transport to lakeside estate in Santa Cruz. Rest. Pray. Dinner and overnight. Sunday, November 19 - Breakfast. Rest. Boat trip to Santiago Atitlán. Mass at St. James the Apostle Church, place of martyrdom and where remains of Blessed Stanley Rother are enshrined. Then, travel by Tuktuk to serve 24 local underserved families with food, school and medical supplies. Dinner at lakeside estate.

Tuesday, November 21 - Breakfast. Rest. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the lakeside estate. Optional boat trip to San Marcos la Laguna for a hike and a cliff jump (for the brave.). Dinner and overnight at estate. Wednesday, November 22 - Breakfast. Travel to Antigua, Guatemala. Optional ground transport to Guatemala City for those who desire to fly out this day. Dinner and overnight in a luxury villa in Antigua. Thursday, November 23 - Breakfast. Rest. Enjoy the ancient city of Antigua Guatemala. Behold beautiful Spanish colonial ruins, art, and culture. Mass at Iglesia San Francisco. Dinner and overnight at villa. Friday, November 24 - Ground Transport to Guatemala City. Fly home. |
